The Dahle PowerTEC 828 HD Hard Drive/Paper Shredder is a combination shredder that is ideal for safely destroying hard drives, SSDs, cell phones, optical media, and paper. It can shred 1 media per pass and up to 100 sheets of 20lb paper per pass. It features a powerful 4.5 Hp. chain driven motor, automatic jam protection, Automatic On/Off and Bin-Full Auto Off, and a LED keypad with easy-to-use controls for simple operation. Plus, the self-cleaning mode ensures optimal performance. For safety, the shredder stops when the doors are opened. The PowerTEC 828 HD has a 31-gallon waste volume for paper and a 26-gallon waste volume for media. It has a 11.8" feed opening for paper, and a 4.7" opening for media. It is rated for security level H-4 for media destruction and security level P-3 for paper shredding.
