Can barely see impressions. No better than cheaper spooled ink ribbons.
Only benefit is easier to load/unload.

Bought this. excellent machine at garage sale for $2. Bt ribbons and tape spool holder from Monroe. Looking forward to a lifetime of dependable use.Thx.

I had a Monroe 1040 for about 40 years , so when it died I bought another Monroe. This one works great but the ribbon wore out and I had trouble getting a new ribbon. The ones from Amazon do not fit even tho they say they do! Thanks for a quality ribbon that fits!!

The personnel at Monroe are great. The website is clear and easy to use. Our problem is with the ribbons. Even brand new they just do not print dark enough. on regular calculator paper. We should not have to buy special paper rolls that cost 3 times as much just to have a readable print out.

I have used the calculators and ribbons for over 40 years. The calculators last a very long time and the ribbons last longer then the ones you can buy from the office supply places.

We never received our first order, it was delivered and signed for by the name of Alex, which doesn't work here. We had to re-order.

Bought 6 ribbons , all are dry and are useless

This is the second box of ribbons I've received from Monroe that were dried out. That is, they print way too light. I expect to get dark print from a new ribbon. I immediately sent an email to the company, hoping to get replacement box, but the message went unanswered. It's unfortunate that an otherwise good product (the calculator) is poorly supported by weak supplies.

Great quality, and easy to install. I highly recommend purchasing the Monroe brand versus a no-name brand for your Monroe calculators.

I recently bought the new Monroe ClassicX printing calculator and a package of M33X ribbons for my new calculator. To my disappointment the printing on the paper is very faint. I suspect that either the printer itself does not put enough pressure against the ribbon when it prints, or the ribbons are not saturated with enough ink. Whatever, the reason, I am not very happy with either the ClassicX or the M33X ribbons.

Quality not great but better than one that was old - will keep as some may be better.

Purchased to replace my old ribbon in a 8145X Monroe desktop printing calculator. The new ones would not print the black or red any darker than my older ribbon. Contacted Monroe and then sent me the old Universal Ribbon Spool replacement at N/C. They indicating that there were some issues with the M33X cartridges. Installed the new E201BR in the machine, and am very pleased. Thanks Monroe for solving a small issue, quickly and at your cost.

Direct from Monroe the ink is much darker than elsewhere. I still have some trouble installing these new X versions properly. But when they are installed properly, the ink color is GREAT!
