Have you received our recent emails from Jon at Monroe and wondered, "Who is Jon?"

Wonder no more; my name is Jonathon Gregull, and it’s a pleasure to introduce myself formally. I joined the team here at Monroe in December 2020 and have been recently promoted to Marketing Manager of the company.

I began my journey at Monroe as an intern (We have a fantastic internship program!) and have been working behind the scenes for the past two years on everything Monroe offers. I hope you’ve seen an improvement in our emails and blogs over the last couple of years, and I welcome any comments or feedback. Just reply directly to our weekly marketing emails, and I’ll reply as soon as possible!

Now for a little bit more about me…

What are your hobbies?

I love everything and anything about baseball (go Phillies!), and I have accumulated an extensive baseball card collection featuring some of my favorite baseball players. I’m always up for a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine, and I enjoy kicking back on the weekends to watch a good movie with loved ones.

I’ve always been interested in how companies advertise their products, and I’m so happy to be leading the charge for a company with such a rich and extensive history!

Where did you receive your education?

I attended Holy Family University in Northeast Philadelphia and obtained a Bachelor’s in Management Marketing. Holy Family provided an excellent environment to learn about the business world and offered numerous opportunities with top companies.

I wouldn’t be in my current position if it weren't for Holy Family University! Their career department helped me find an internship opportunity with Monroe shortly after my graduation.

What do you like the most about working at Monroe?

There are a lot of things I love about Monroe. A few big spotlights to highlight are the camaraderie of our team, our customer service, and the history of this company.

Everyone is willing to help with any aspect of the business, and we’re always ready to help one another regardless of job titles. That energy is why I love coming to work every day and what sets us apart from any other company.

Not many people can say they’ve worked for a company that has been around for over 100 years. At Monroe, we take pride in that and have numerous antiques and pictures around the office from years passed that help remind us of the importance of our work here.

What Monroe printing calculator do I use?

I use the Monroe Handheld daily at work and even brought one with me on my trip to the Caribbean! I’ll admit, I had never used an adding machine before my time at Monroe and thought I would only use Excel or a phone calculator for all my calculations after graduation. After a few lessons, I’ve grown to love Monroe calculators and hope to be able to use a heavy-duty model once I find some space on my desk for one lol.
