How to Install Monroe Paper Rolls into a Monroe Printing Calculator

Step 1 Ribbon

Step 2 Ribbon

Step 3 Ribbon

Notes

 Step 1

Turn OFF the calculator. Slide the printer   cover off of the device. Put pressure on the   cover at the top of the device, pushing off the   cover.

Take note of the arms holding the paper roll   in place. You'll need to remove the paper roll   core from the previous roll that you are   replacing for a new paper roll.

 Step 2

 Install the new paper roll.*

Make sure that the paper sits so the paper is   feeding up towards the sky and not down toward   the ground. This will help keep the paper curling   toward the back of the machine when you print.

 Step 3

Now it is time to feed the printer paper into   the printer. Look for a slot along the top-rear   of the printer. Then, feed the paper between   the slot in the printer.

Turn ON the calculator. Press the "FEED"   button on the printer so the paper continues   to be fed through the device properly.

 *Notes

Depending on the model calculator   you may need to have the calculator lid   installed before feeding the paper   through the printer.

For the Monroe 6120X, 2020PlusX, and   122PDX lids must be installed before   feeding the paper.

For the Monroe 8130X, 8145X, and   UltimateX the lid does not need to be   installed until afterwards.

For optimal printing results, we recommend using the Monroe P65M, a universal ribbon, or the M33X ribbon cartridges that work across the entire Monroe X Series line of printing calculators. Choose Monroe for all your calculator and paper roll needs. Those who know, choose Monroe.

Been using the 20lb. paper rolls for many years. Never a problem with the machine when using it.

    Spoil...

This is hands-down, the best adding machine tape there is and well it’s a little bit more expensive than what you might find on the shelf in your local office supply place. This is the stuff that lasts so when you run a tape and put it in a folder that looks the same five years later that it did the day you tape it into place, OK so I’m an accountant… And I appreciate that my files don’t overtime and I’m willing to pay for adding machine tape that feels more substantial and lasts forever.

    20 Lb. Single-Ply Paper...

Posted by Leslie Alexander on Jul 24, 2023

I love this paper! The quality is superior to any paper rolls I've used in the past. It's sturdy enough to not fold or crumple easily, and the print is actually darker. I'm guessing that's because there is less of a gap between the print ribbon and the printing roller? I will never use another kind of paper roll!

If you have ever had any problems with adding machine tape jamming this is the solution. I won't use any other product.

    ADD ROLLS

Posted by DON H on Jul 18, 2018

I am an accountant for over 35 years. Always hated the cheap quality of the paper rolls available. I recently bought the Ultimate X Calculator and ordered the Monroe 20lb paper rolls What a difference. The paper does no jam or tear , and is bright white. My portable small hand printing calculator was always a problem. It was hard to feed the paper and the paper never went through the machine without pulling to the side. I started using this paper in my portable as well and no more problems. It cost a little more than the cheap 16lb junk paper , but is well worth it.
